A shipyard in Vietnam tasked MTC to design a ship move and transfer system as their yard has a narrow frontage and they needed ships coming in for repair to be able to move them to the back of the yard for repairs.  After consultation on solutions that will best suit their site condition, we designed a special car that is able to lift and move in a general direction.  The car is also able o rotate so that it can move side ways.

The beauty of this design allows our client to be able to handle bigger jobs as the cars can be multiplied if needed and effectively increases its capacity by adding additional trestle and arranging the lifting points proportional to the design of the ship.  The movement and rotation of the cars are computer controlled and all the movement are synchronised with our customised program.
